Accommodation and rent
• You will receive a full refund of the rent for August, we will refund you during week 33.
• MKB is arranging new, permanent housing, and you will receive information about this from us between 14-18 August.
• You will pay the same rent as you do today for a year, even if your new apartment is more expensive than the old one. MKB will cover the difference.
• You retain your housing time at "Boplats syd" (a housing service).
All parking spaces will be terminated, and you will receive the money back for August.
Securitas guards the house to prevent unauthorized entry.

Ocab has rescued some items from certain apartments; you can call them on Monday from 07:30 to 16:00 to learn more, phone number: 040-680 82 00.
We have guards on-site, guarding the house around the clock to prevent any unauthorized individuals from entering. We have also put up fences around the house. No one is allowed to enter the house!

What happens now?
The rescue operation will continue until the fire is extinguished, and then the cause of the fire will be investigated. We at MKB have contacted everyone living in the house, and we have guards on-site around the clock in the near future.

Do I need to pay my rent at the end of August?
No, if you live in the house that has been affected by the fire, you don't need to pay the rent at the end of August.
I have already paid the rent for August - will I get a refund?
Yes, MKB will adjust your rent for August afterward. You will receive a refund during week 33.
Will MKB help me find a new residence?
Yes, we will arrange new apartments for everyone. We will personally call each customer between 15 and 17 August to discuss the long-term housing issue.

Information for residents of Munkhättegatan 155
On Friday, 11/8, we closed the attics at Munkhättegatan 155 for safety reasons.
The laundry room in the house at Munkhättegatan 155 is closed due to the fire. For the time being, you can do your laundry at Axel Danielsson's väg 2D.
Center The environmental center at Munkhättegatan 155 cannot be used; therefore, we have placed two garbage bins in the yard.
If you cannot use your parking space due to the fire, you will receive a refund from MKB.
The houses are safe to live in, but it's good if you check your smoke detectors. If they don't work or if you're missing smoke detectors, you can get new ones at MKB's office at Nydalatorget.
